Ingredients of Ranch Mac & Cheese

1. Prepare of (16oz.) package shell macaroni.
2. You need of milk.
3. You need of butter.
4. You need of Ranch salad dressing mix.
5. Prepare of garlic salt.
6. It's of black pepper.
7. You need of sugar( to balance out all the salt. Don't add salt until you taste. Also it will taste salty but after you mix it with the macaroni its fine).
8. Prepare of Shredded cheddar cheese mixture.
9. Prepare of Velveeta cheese.
10. It's of sour cream.
11. You need of Shredded Colby jack.

Ranch Mac & Cheese step by step

1. Cook macaroni according to package directions.
2. Meanwhile, in medium saucepan, combine milk, butter, dressing mix, garlic salt, pepper and sugar; heat through.
3. Stir in cheddar cheese mixture and Velveeta cheese until melted.
4. Stir in sour cream. Keep this on low until noodles are cooked. It will be a little runny but it will thicken up in the oven.
5. Drain macaroni and let cool for 5 minutes.
6. Add macaroni to cheese sauce and stir until combined.
7. Transfer macaroni and cheese to a greased, 13x9 baking dish. Top with Colby jack cheese. Bake at 350 for 25 to 30 minutes.
